Pulse Chemo Next Week

Hi all! Next week (Tuesday) I begin another round of pulse chemotherapy. This time we are using Avastin in addition to Temodar. We are hoping for positive results of course. I'll let you know the side effects, if any. Keep the faith.
I intend to spend a little quality time tomorrow on the road with my new LeMond Etape road bke!

I hope you get out on the road bike today! Tomorrow too for that matter! : )

It has finally cleared off here. Tony Bennett was great, very smooth, even did a few dance steps for us.

Thinking about you!
Love, Martha

John,
I'm jealous of your new road bike. Unfortunately, I've had to abandon my hopes of upgrading my own. Oh, well.

I have done some reading about your new treatment, to the extent that a layperson can do so, and I have the highest hopes. Ashley and I are both praying for you.

If your chemo necessitates some downtime for you this week, you may want to plug your headphones into your laptop and check out SeeqPod.com as you are resting. I'm on a big "Iron and Wine" kick lately and highly recommend them/him. "Waiting for Superman" is, in particular, nice, as is "Trapeze Swinger."

God bless. We are always thinking of you.

Dan

BTW, I look forward to your fulfillment of your promise to provide more frequent blog posts. I apologize for not commenting lately. Fleeson is keeping me hopping. Of course, if I don't get good news from the bar examiners here shortly, I may have enough free time on my hands that I start a blog of my own.;)

Take care,
Dan
